No Action Taken by Commission Against Client of Landon White Law

A Long Road to a Successful Outcome

No action was taken against Landon White Law Firm’s client by the NC Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission on February 22, 2024.  Our client was noticed with two alleged violations.  The client engaged attorney Landon White early.  At a hearing before the Probable Cause Committee, the Committee found probable cause for one violation and dismissed the other.  A 5-year suspension was recommended.  Landon White appealed the case to the Office of Administrative Hearings.  After a second hearing on the single remaining violation before a judge with the Office of Administrative Hearings, it was recommended that the suspension be stayed and the decision was sent back to the NC Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.  Attorney Landon White then argued this administrative law case before the full NC Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission with the judge’s recommendation, and the Commission voted to take no action against our client.
